Mark Howarter, D.C. - Director

As owner and founder of The Chiropractic Experience Wellness Center, my mission has always been to inspire families with a lifestyle of wellness.  So, I have been so blessed over the past 10 years to do exactly what I LOVE!  Each day, I have the opportunity to help people, not just feel better, but BE better...whether it's playing with the kids, hitting a great golf shot, or just having some energy left at the end of the day...Chiropractic WORKS!  And people get well...naturally, and without drugs.

My qualifications, I'm a Cum Laude graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri, and certified in pediatric chiropractic care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. I've been entrusted to care for tiny babies to local athletes that you may know. I've also traveled to other countries like Guatemala, and Ghana, West Africa to bring chiropractic, hope and healing to those in need there. You might have seen me around the community, playing at the park with my kids, volunteering for local service organizations, playing in the praise team at my church or cheering on the Jayhawks.

Sean Cailteux, D.C. - Associate Doctor

My name is Dr. Sean Cailteux and I am very excited to join Dr. Howarter and the rest of The Chiropractic Experience team. I attended Washburn University where I majored in Exercise Physiology, and was named several times to the Dean’s Honor Roll. I then attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX where I graduated Cum Laude with my Doctorate of Chiropractic, while concurrently earning both a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Anatomy, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Wellness. When I am out of the office I enjoy competing in Triathlons and Marathons, camping, fishing, and really anything that keeps me outdoors. I love to go dancing, but you do NOT want to hear me sing! I adore and worship my God, and I love my family. I feel truly blessed to be a part of the Chiropractic profession, for which I have such a profound respect and appreciation. I look forward to meeting you, and to helping you achieve a happier and healthier life.  

Leah Henderson - Office Manager

Hello, my name is Leah Henderson. I am originally from Oklahoma City, but a softball scholarship brought me to the University of Kansas and the Lawrence community I now call home.  After attaining my degree in Exercise Science, I wanted to get directly into the health field and start making a difference for people.  On my spare time, I like to hang out with my husband and my two beautiful… dogs!  I also love any activity that is related to sports.  This past year I have volunteered at LMH for a few hours, and I also help out at a local gym. I love to help people make a difference in their lives.  I cannot wait to start helping you in achieving your personal wellness goals.

Sally Bremenkamp - Chiropractic Assistant

Hi, my name is Sally Bremenkamp.  I came to The Chiropractic Experience as a patient in 2007 looking for alternatives to surgery for a neck injury.   New to Chiropractic, my eyes were opened to a whole new philosophy of care and life changing results.  Not only was I able to avoid surgery, but I have regained my mobility and now live pain free.  Working here was a natural step for me-  I love seeing the positive change in our patients, and am always ready to lend support where needed.  A little about me:  I have a wonderful husband and son, hilarious pets, and a BFA from Kansas State University.  I love art, architecture, theater, and the beach.  I look forward to meeting you and assisting you on your road to wellness!
